Dr. Joyce Johnston, founder of Sudbury Endodontics
Dr. Joyce Johnston-Neeser was recognized as a Boston Magazine 2019 and 2020 Top Dentist in her field of Endodontics. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree at Northeastern University. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1998 where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was selected into the prestigious National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, where admission and membership is based upon scholarship and character as manifested by election by the faculty. While at Tufts undergraduate she received the award for Oral Pathology and the award for Endodontics.
 
She also participated in a health service externship in Bolivia, providing care to the underprivileged population.  
 
Following dental school she completed her specialty training and postdoctoral certificate in Endodontics at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Johnston practiced in Sudbury for the past 16 years and recently opened her new practice in Hudson, MA and looks forward to providing compassionate, innovative, and personalized care to her patients.
 
In her time away from the office Dr. Johnston enjoys spending time with her two children Alexandra and Andrew when they are home from college. She loves to travel and experience different cultures. She also enjoys bike riding, cooking, volunteering at various organizations and long walks with her dog Luna.
 
Dr. Johnston is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association for Endodontics, the Massachusetts Association of Endodontics, Multi-Disciplinary Dental Study Club and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
